Dancing with the Robins - A Loving Couple
Mr Robin was sighted on a palm tree but flew to another nearby tree when we approached. Mrs Robin was hospitable and sociable. She showed us around. Mr Robin was concerned and curious about the visitors as he looked on. What a loving couple!

Dancing with the Robins - Prologue
Try taking the outdoors photo of birds within 2 to 3 metres or less. Chances are they will fly away even before you can focus the camera on them.
There is a way with Oriental Magpie Robins. Mimic their calls and they become relaxed and calm.
The bird(s) may then stay around for a while, up to 5 minutes or more. Jump between twigs, hop on the ground while cocking its tail, stay put singing a quiet song and preening its plumage. There is always eye contact!
A ball of time to take photos!
